Nikita is a very broken person at her core. Her troubled childhood in foster homes, drug addiction and later murder all contributed to that. She knows she's broken largely because Division recruited her when she was at her lowest, on death row. Division pieced her back together in a way she knew wasn't quite right. They saved her life and gave her a new one but they also turned her into a killer. While she didn't always agree with Division she wasn't prepared to cut and run, at least, not until they killed her fiance, Daniel. When that happened everything that she kept bottled up about Division came to a head. That's when she decided to go rogue and it became clear to her just how corrupt the place had become.

One of the key forces that drives her is anger. Anger at what has been done to her, done to others and what she has done. She keeps that anger under the surface and uses it. So that anger only really surfaces in this controlled rage. An ice cold, willing to do anything attitude. That part of her scares her as much as others and she really strives to control it. It is part of what made her such an effective assassin which makes her like it even less.

Because over her life she's had almost everything she loves taken from her she always keeps people at a distance. She knows she does but it's hard for her to let herself be close to anyone knowing that just by knowing her they've painted a target on their back. Even as she keeps people at a distance she is very protective of those closest to her. Alex, especially, whom is almost like a daughter to her, and Michael whom she helped even when they were on opposite sides. With Michael she risked him hating her for the rest of his life in order to save his life.

She really wants to do the best for everyone around her but she often forgets to even ask them what they want. She'll do what she thinks is right and it somehow doesn't even dawn on her she should ask. That also pushes people away from her.

She has grown a strong moral center and follows it. Much of what she does stems directly from guilt over what she did while at Division. Sometimes it seems like she blames herself more than Division for her past. She knows she can never make up for what she's done and the lives she's taken but she hopes she can prevent it from happening to anyone else. She especially wants to prevent what happened to her from happening again. She doesn't think of herself as a hero she just wants to stop the cycle death Division has created.

Something worth noting is she is vegan. I believe this was born out of her genuine desire not to be the killer she was turned into. She doesn't want to kill and this extends to animals as well as humans.

□ Appearance: She's a mixed race that shows the most around her eyes. She's on the very slender but muscled side.
□ Abilities/Powers:
Nikita is extremely skilled in many forms of hand-to-hand combat such as Krav Maga, Kali, and MCMAP to name a few. Likewise she's skilled with projectile weapons and the best shot to come out of Division(by beating Michael's score.). Additionally she's great with improvised fighting and weaponry.
It's sort of an ability but she was trained in how to be seductive and use her femininity to her advantage. It's not something she does all the time but she knows how.
She's also a talented actress when it comes to being undercover.

[Okay time to turn on the charm see what kind of intel she can dig up. A slow sigh out and she centers herself in front of a mirror and turns of video.]

So I know this place has, like, everything but do you guys, have like--[she internally cringes playing clueless is not one of her favorite things to do. But it does get her results faster than other methods.

She gestures in the air like she can't think of the word.]

uh, vegan stuff? Almond milk or something? I mean, I'm pretty sure I saw cartons of breast milk in there and that's just not really my thing either. And why is there porn on food packages?

[She holds up a bag of flour that has two naked women covered in flour on its logo.] I mean, seriously?

[Now time to ping for the real information. Although she does want to know about the vegan stuff also.]

I know the guys in that building I woke up in said this place was totally safe. But I don't exactly trust strange guys I meet when I wake up. Anyway! I don't have to worry about getting mugged or anything, do I?

[She turns off video after her question. That might not get her much but it's better than saying 'Hi, I'm Nikita and I'm rogue assassin. Nice to meet you.']
